Akait ve temel düşünceler, her değer sisteminin ve her düzenli ideolojinin temelini oluşturmakta bilinçli veya bilinçsiz olarak insanların davranışlarının şekillenmesinde etkili olmaktadır. Ben çok kıymetli bir evladımı yitirdim ve şimdi ömrümün ürünü sayılabilecek şahsiyetlerden biri olarak, onun matemini çekiyoruz. Aziz İslâm’da, bu meyveli evladın ve daima yaşayacak âlimin şahsiyetiyle öyle bir boşluk açılmıştır ki hiçbir şey o boşluğu dolduramaz. Ve tebriklerim ise, bütün yaşamı boyunca ve ondan sonra nur saçmış ve hala da saçan bu fedakâr şahsiyetlere sahip olunduğu içindir. Ben nurlu ışıklarıyla insanlara hayat bahşeden ve karanlıklara nur saçan böyle evlatların eğitilmesi sebebiyle yüce İslâm’a, insanların mürebbisine ve İslâm ümmetine tebriklerimi sunuyorum. Ben her ne kadar kendi vücudumdan bir parça olan aziz bir evladımı kaybettimse de, İslâm’da böyle fedakâr evlatlar olduğu için iftihar ediyorum. Ruh temizliği, iman gücü ve anlatma yeteneği hususunda benzeri az bulunabilecek olan Mutahhari gitti ve Mele-i A’la ulaştı. Ancak art niyetliler şunu bilsinler ki, onun şahadetiyle birlikte İslâmi ilmi ve felsefi şahsiyeti de gitmez.
